The Mining Quests are an exhilarating new feature in the Rune Guardians universe, inviting players to venture into the caves of the Rune Realms to uncover hidden treasures, rescue lost miners, and discover ordinals from other realms.

Here's everything you need to know to embark on these thrilling adventures:

What are Mining Quests?

Mining Quests take you deep into the mysterious caves of the Rune Realms, where adventurers can:

Rescue Lost Miners: Help miners who have ventured too far and lost their way.
Discover Rare Runes: Uncover ancient symbols of power hidden in the caves.
Unearth Ordinals from Other Realms: Encounter unique treasures brought to the Rune Realms from distant lands.

How does the Mining Quest works

Realm Board: Stay vigilant and check the Realm Board regularly to discover all active quests and important updates on ongoing adventures.
Explore the Caves:
- Each of the 7 regions contains 5 or more caves to explore.
- Within each cave, there are 5 mining spots to choose from.
Select a Spot and Start Mining:
- Choose one of the 5 spots in a cave and begin your mining attempt.
- Mining takes 2 hours to complete. You’ll need to return later to see what you’ve uncovered.
Uncover Treasures:
- There’s a chance to find one of the following:
  - A Lost Miner who will join your party.
  - Runes and Ordinals from this and distant realms, offering powerful artifacts and rare collectibles to enhance your journey and expand your treasure trove.

Clues

If a miner isn’t discovered within 24 hours, a clue will be posted at a random time to guide adventurers to the correct region or cave.

Tracking Progress

Once the miner is found, the Realm Board will be updated to announce that the quest has been completed.

Be Strategic: Choose your mining spots wisely and collaborate with other players to uncover treasures faster.
Stay Alert: Clues are posted at random times, so check back from time to time.
Use Your Time Well: Mining takes 2 hours, so plan your other IRL activities while you wait.
