# Getting Started

Welcome, Guardian, and thank you for joining us! \
\
This is the beginning of your journey as a Rune Guardian. If you're here just to get the holder role on Discord and you own one of our Ordinal [collections](/knowledgebase/on-chain-assets/collections.md), follow the [Verification Instructions](#verification-instructions) below to enjoy all the Discord benefits. However, if you're eager to dive deeper and maximize your experience as a miner in our game, be sure to also read the [**Mining Requirements**](/knowledgebase/game/mining-requirements.md) and [**Game Basics**](/knowledgebase/game/game-basics.md) to fully unlock your potential and benefits.

## **Verification Instructions:**

* [x] Log in with your wallet. You’ll only need to connect, you don't need to sign a transaction.

1. Select **Play Now.**

2. Select your preferred wallet, then **Connect**.

Once your wallet is connected, you'll be prompted to link your Discord account to your profile. This step is essential for fully activating your account and obtaining your exclusive Discord holder role(s).

4. **Authorize**.

5. Wait for the verification to complete. It typically takes **10-20 minutes**.

* Your wallet will be tracked on-chain, and you'll receive the <mark style="color:green;">Rune Guadian</mark> holder's role on our discord community. The role is earned if you have at least one Ordinal from our collections.
* Depending on your Miners rank on the [**Leaderboad**](/knowledgebase/game/leaderboard.md), you can obtain the following roles: <mark style="color:yellow;">**Elite**</mark>, <mark style="color:purple;">**Legendary**</mark>, <mark style="color:red;">**Master**</mark>, <mark style="color:blue;">**Commander**</mark>, or <mark style="color:green;">**Novice**</mark>.
